Trading in Pakistan: regulation, adoption and where Yielbo AI fits

Pakistan has become one of the most active crypto markets in the world, and 2025–2026 brought the regulatory changes the market had waited years for. Here is a short overview of where things stand and what it means for a private trader in Faisalabad or anywhere in the country.

How many people trade

According to the 2025 Chainalysis Global Crypto Adoption Index, Pakistan is the world's third-largest crypto market by adoption — only India and the US rank higher. Estimates put the user base at 15–18 million people. Many of them started with stablecoins as a hedge against inflation and moved on to active trading.

Regulation

The regulatory turn came quickly: the Pakistan Crypto Council was set up in March 2025, the Virtual Assets Ordinance of July 2025 established PVARA as the national regulator, and in early 2026 both houses of Parliament passed the Virtual Assets Act, making the framework permanent. Operating a virtual-asset service without a licence is now punishable by fines of up to PKR 50 million and prison terms, so the market is consolidating around licensed providers.

Moving money

In April 2026 the State Bank of Pakistan lifted its long-standing ban on banks serving crypto businesses. Large international exchanges began receiving regulatory clearances in late 2025. For ordinary users this means deposits and withdrawals in rupees are becoming simpler and more transparent, with card and bank-transfer rails working alongside international platforms.

Drivers

Three drivers stand out: inflation and the wish to hold value in dollar-linked assets; a young, mobile-first population with growing freelance and remittance income; and the state's own signals — a strategic Bitcoin reserve announced in 2025 and plans to allocate surplus electricity to mining and AI data centres. Trading has moved from the margins to the mainstream.

Yielbo AI in this landscape

In a market that is maturing quickly, Yielbo AI positions itself as the supported option: one account for crypto, forex, stocks and commodities, funding in rupees from USD 250 (≈ 70,000 PKR), and people who answer questions at any hour.

A necessary caution

A regulated market is safer, not safe. Prices still swing, and leverage amplifies losses. Treat every platform, Yielbo AI included, as a tool that requires judgment, limits and realistic expectations.
